John Cook (BA (Hons) Int Des) originally from the UK, studied design at the North London School of Architecture and Design, qualifying as an Interior Designer following a 4.5 year Honours Degree course. Working on interiors and domestic architecture he remained in London to join a private Architectural practice in Mayfair as an Interior Designer dealing with all aspects of interiors and project administration in London, the UK and overseas for individual clients, Interior Designers and the London Estates. Moving to the Herault region of Southern France in 2004 he created The Village House interior design business.

Jean-Maurice Siu originally from New Caledonia, moved to Paris in 1988 and relocated to southern France in 2004. Interested in all aspects of design and with a keen eye for the unusual he actively takes part in the sourcing of materials and furnishings. Jean-Maurice provides an administrative link between contractors, suppliers and client to ensure a smooth, efficient and enjoyable design experience.
