The attic in this large house was a good sized space with high roof beams and had the potential to make a useful addition to the living area of the family home. The brief was to transform the dark, dusty and crumbling waste of space into a light and bright master suite with open plan bedroom, dressing room, study space plus a large en-suite bathroom. The original partition walls and entrance wall were removed and the entire space re-configured providing a landing and entrance lobby with bespoke glazed window panel as well as re-opening a blocked window and installing central heating and services.
